Bang-Galore, Noooooo! This small town, the capital of the state of Karnataka, India, should have been called Gardens-Galore. Whichever direction you look in, the only thing visible are the trees that line up the parks and streets of Bangalore, and of course the only colour, Green with the vibrant hues of orange, red, yellow, blue and white to make it an Eden in itself. All around, Bangalore is embraced by lakes, mountains, forests, pastures and farmlands. This is a city for the romantics, the poets, the dreamers (the day-type), the honeymooners and their likes. People come here for relaxing and taking a break, it was also called the Pensioner's Paradise.

Mahatma Gandhi Road (Around 1975...)

Named after our Patron, the Great Freedom Fighter and Mahatma, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, this is one of the best places to be when you come to Bangalore with places for shopping, eating, watching movies or maybe just doing nothing. The local people come to M.G.Road just to take a walk in the cool and wintry climate. As this is the heart of the city of Bangalore, it is also known for its business offices.

Ulsoor Lake

Close to M.G.Road, this lake is one of the main attractions of holiday goers. With a radius of about 3 km, this lake is ideal for rowing around in a boat or you could just sprawl on the green grass that surrounds the lake to enjoy its cool breeze. You could also sit and relax on the small islands that are on the lake. The serene water can just be felt.
