Manali Chandigarh Tours

Itinerary: Delhi - Nalagarh / Chandigarh (1 Night) - Solang Valley / Palchan (2 Nights) - Manali (3 Nights) - Delhi. 
Duration: 7 Days and 6 Nights.

Day 01  Delhi - Nalagarh / Chandigarh (300 kms / 5 hrs). Leave Delhi at 8 A.M. Reach Chandigarh /  at 1 P.M. Its a quality heritage resort at Nalagarh with A/c theme rooms. Day at leisure to pamper yourself at the resort - swimming, tennis, massages, visit the Mughal Gardens at Pinjore nearby.

Day 02  Nalagarh / Chandigarh - Solang Valley /Palchan. (265 kms / 6 hrs). Leave at 8 A.M. Reach at 2 P.M. After lunch, explore the adjoining forests with blooming mountain flowers, leisurely strolling thru' the myriad trails and pathways. Overnight at Solang Valley / Palchan.

Day 03  Solang Valley / Palchan. After a leisurely breakfast, go for a trek with a packed lunch. The rolling meadows and the views of the snow capped Himalayas and the Beas river meandering in the valley below are a traveller's dream.

Day 04 Solang Valley / Palchan - Manali (10 kms). Step into the Valley of Gods with the grandeur of Himalayas and Beas River. Reach Manali.  After settling into , visit the four-tiered Hadimba Temple amidst deodhar trees. Imbibe the local ambience on the Mall, shop for souvenirs at the Tibetan / Hong Kong Market. Enjoy the evening at Van Vihar. Overnight at Manali.

Day 05  Manali. Visit Solang Valley with its rolling meadows, ski slopes and paragliding activities, offering spectacular views. Drive on to the mighty snowbound Rohtang Pass - at 3979 mtrs - the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. Revel in the breathtaking beauty of Kothi, Rahalla Falls and Marrhi en-route to Rohtang. Overnight at Manali.

Day 06  Manali. Drive 22 kms to the beautiful heritage Naggar Castle, the old capital of Kullu. In Naggar is located, the Roerich Art Gallery museum, in a grove of deodhars with lovely views all around. It houses a collection of the paintings by the Russian artist. Naggar is very serene and picturesque.

Day 07  Manali - Delhi (570 kms / 11 hrs). Depart from Manali at 7 A.M. Reach Delhi at 6 P.M.
Tour ends...but the memories remain !
