Shimla - Manali Package Tours

Itinerary: Delhi - Shimla / Naldehra / Kasauli (2 Nights) - Manali (3 Nights) - Nalagarh / Chandigarh ( 1 Night) - Delhi.

Day 01 Delhi - Shimla / Naldehra (370 kms / 8 hrs) / Delhi - Kasauli. (325 kms / 6.5 hrs)
Start from Delhi reach Shimla / Naldehra with its lingering echoes of a bygone era or Reach Kasauli After settling into the resort, late afternoon climb up 2 kms to Jakhoo Hill near the highest point on the Shimla Ridge and visit Jakhoo Temple (dedicated to Lord Hanuman). On the way back pick souvenirs and curios at Lakkar Bazaar. Enjoy the evening at The Ridge / Scandal Point- the hub of the town with its ice-cream vendors, pony rides and spectacular Himalayan views. Overnight at Simla / Naldhera / Kasauli.
Kasauli - After a leisurely lunch take a short siesta. Late afternoon, visit the quaint town, stroll through the mall and relax at "Monkey Point". In the evening, pamper yourself at the facilities of the resort.
Kasauli is a charming quaint little town about 12 kms from the Shimla-Kalka road. Its colonial ambience is reinforced by cobbled paths, quaint shops, gabled houses with charming facades and scores of neat little gardens and orchards. The upper and lower malls run through Kasauli's length and one can enjoy long walks on it.

Day 02
At Shimla / Naldehra. Explore the scenic places around Simla – Naldhera with its rolling meadows and a 9 hole golf course, Mashobra with its pine forests offering lovely walks, specially the pathways from Bekalty Road, Kufri's famed ski slopes and the small zoo and Chail with its romantic palace, deodhar forests, not to forget its highest cricket pitch. The area has breathtaking views of the Himalyan peaks foreshadowed by the terraced fields and verdant forests. In the evening soak in the ambience of this old world town, going shopping on the the fashionable Mall.
In the evening, pamper yourself at the facilities of the resort. Overnight at Shimla / Naldehra.
OR At Kasauli. Wake up to the invigorating mountain air. After breakfast, explore the forest trails with a packed lunch. In the evening, pamper yourself at the facilities of the resort. Overnight at Kasauli.
There are numerous lovely walks around Kasauli and one can enjoy the beauty of the hills and the riot of colour of the wild flowers that grow in profusion along the hill slopes. Mixed forests of chir-pine, Himalayan oak and huge horse chestnuts surround Kasauli. Its narrow roads slither up and down the Himachal hillsides and offer some magnificent vistas.

Day 03 Shimla / Naldehra - Manali (280 kms / 8 hrs) / Kasauli - Manali (350 kms / 10 hrs).
Leave Shimla / Naldehra / Kasauli at 8 A.M. Step into the Valley of Gods with the grandeur of Himalayas and Beas River. Reach Manali. After settling into deluxe hotel, visit the four-tiered Hadimba Temple amidst deodhar trees. Imbibe the local ambience on the Mall, shop for souvenirs at the Tibetan / Hong Kong Market. Enjoy the evening at Van Vihar.
Overnight at Manali.

Day 04 Manali. Visit Solang Valley with its rolling meadows, ski slopes and paragliding activities, offering spectacular views. Drive on to the mighty snowbound Rohtang Pass - at 3979 mtrs - the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. Revel in the breathtaking beauty of Kothi, Rahalla Falls and Marrhi en-route to Rohtang. Overnight at Manali.

Day 05 Manali. Drive 22 kms to the beautiful heritage Naggar Castle, the old capital of Kullu. In Naggar is located, the Roerich Art Gallery museum, in a grove of deodhars with lovely views all around. It houses a collection of the paintings by the Russian artist. Naggar is very serene and picturesque.
OR you can take a full day trip to Manikaran 85 km from Manali and 45 km from Kullu, in the Parvati Valley. Here icy cold waters of the Parvati river co-exists with boiling water side-by-side. The hot water springs are reputed for their healing properties.Overnight at Manali.

Day 06 Manali - Nalagarh (260 kms / 6 hrs). Leave Manali at 10 A.M. Driving thru’ the picturesque Kullu Valley reach Chandigarh / Nalagarh Fort Resort at 4 P.M. Its a quality heritage resort at Nalagarh with A/c theme rooms. Pamper yourself at the resort - swimming, tennis, massages, visit the Mughal Gardens at Pinjore nearby.
Overnight at Chandigarh / Nalagarh Fort Resort.

Day 07 Nalagarh / Chandigarh - Delhi (300 kms / 5 hrs) After a relaxed morning at the resort, depart from
Chandigarh / Nalagarh at 12 Noon. Reach Delhi at 5 P.M.
