This museum has regular presentation on various subjects related to astronomy and space. It has been developed for the study of astronomy. Sky shows are held here daily at different timings and in different languages. Science museum is closed on last Tuesday of the month and planetarium is closed on last Thursday of the month.

The city's primary feature, Golconda Fort is one of the most magnificent fortress complexes in India. This fort was originally built by Kaktiya kings Ganpati. It is located 10km west of the city. From this fort the Kaktiya kings ruled the near by areas. This massive fort with walls and 70ramparts extending some 7 kms in circumference and 8 huge gates, occupies a perimeter of 11 kms and its walls are 15 to 18 fts high.

These tombs are open from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and closed on Friday.
