The foundation
stone of this beautiful temple of Lord Krishna, was laid by Kameshwar Singh,
the erstwhile king of Darbhanga in 1945 under the aegis of Sanatan
Pratinidhi Sabha Punjab, Lahore, while it was inaugurated by Dr Rajendra
Prasad, the first President of India in 1949. The temple has a very
beautiful idol of Lord Krishna, which is similar to the idol of Lord Krishna
of Birla temple, New Delhi.
